Got a blinding quote from HIC on the Corsa.

FC - £515 with all mods declared. Works out about £40 a month

Including Personal accident cover, Windscreen, Audio, 30 days in Europe and £50k Legal Cover.

Cons: High Excess £450, No Agreed Valuation.

Anybody got any experience of this company? My mate spanked a moped years ago with this company and they were actually pretty good IIRC.

Spoke to John at Brentacre and they can't get near that price, not even for TPFT. Gutting really

I had a policy with them about 18 months ago but on 2 wheels. And they still havent sent me a cert of my NCB after ringing asking why it hasnt been sent!

as you said really, loads of cover, good price, go for it

Phil, if you are doing quotes can you ask if Brentacre cover European trips if you haven't already? I have the Corsa covered with them and haven't asked before now.

Only been insured with them a few weeks now. Gave me a good price on my c20let. My excess is the same as what you quoted.

They give you 90 days cover abroad Ollie. Just let them know when you're going.

UPDATE - Back with Highway

I asked for agreed valuation. They changed it over to Highway so I could have it.

Also i'm now covered to drive other cars Third Party

Same Price. So yeh... er... Phone HIC

was it the amount u wanted?? did they ask how much u value it at and they said yes ok or??
