Yes, they're totally gay but as I'm spending a fortune this month on bodyworka and respray, I'm considering getting one for show journeys. I want to also get a sticker saying 'I only have a gay bra on my car to protect the paintwork. Thanks'
What you lot reckon?

LOL I was joking about the sticker. I'd just rather not find loads of stone chips on my bonnet on my way to shows.

I remember going to a car show one year with a few boys that had mg/ rover turbo's. They wraped their front ends up with cling film to avoid stone chips. Next thing they were all stoping coz the car was overheating. Made me LOL

If you're using it to protect something that you've spent hundreds/ thousands of pounds on then it shouldn't matter what people think of it. It's being used as intended, not to gain wierd 'euro kudos'.

spot on, all the haters that say there gay clearly havent invested in top priced paint job, or do not understand there purpose.
you can get clear vinyl for the same use but i find the bra's are by far the safest/most effective method

Get some of that vinyl stuff that covers the whole car instead of a respray.

Quite clearly a touchy subject for some people! I'm not into the look, nor am I expecting a car to never get marked or chipped on British roads just thought I might reduce stone chips on my fresh paintwork. Thanks everyone.
