On my way back from my local vaux garage this afternoon. Came off an island and smashed into a huge pot hole Pulled over straight away to find my speedline kerbed and a ripped/popped tyre..great! Police turned up and helped me get the car to a safe place. didnt have my jack in the car so my dad came from work to help me get the spare on. Drove off and the steering is fooked! pulling left loads Hoping the tracking just been knocked out and that ive not bent something.

Going down the council tommorrow to voice my anger! Couldnt have happened at a worse time to be honest. The car was meant to be going in for its mot thursday so gonna have to cancel that. Needed to get the mot done asap as well because I need to be able to drive it to the bodyshop when it goes to have the bumper repaired after some numpty went into the back off me

Poor little thing

Rant over

I swerved on yesterday and ended up hitting a 2nd (luckily smaller) one instead. Fucks me right off as im down 60/90 and its gunna wreck the shocks. Measured the one i swerved, 40cm by 36cm and 12cm deep on a main junction. Its always on bits of road that have just been dug up so the repair was poor. Theres roads that i just dont go down anymore and would rather travel 1/2mile to avoid such things happening, anyone that know chichester will probably agree with me

dont worry about that, i reversed over some raised blockpavers in my old gsi and ripped off the front bumper. I put a claim in and they accepted liability - it got damaged AFTER they told us they were repairing the block paving. you should be alright

They will have a record of having fixed the hole I'd imagine so you'll still be ok.

Even when it's broken you're car still looks damn good

you're a mug to be honest mate. the police would've reported it to the council so you should've gone straight down with a newspaper to grab photo's.

unlucky mate don't think you'll be able to claim tbh.
