Yip he had a year at College, then got a job/training with Opito. I cant remember how long he's been with Opito but its over a year now. This is what he's done/doing before going off shore

Yes 14 days solid weekends aswell 12hr shifts sometimes you may be required to work longer, I think the maximum you can do by law is 15hrs.
If you work abroad then its a month around 30 days on 12hr shifts but the pay goes to silly levels. A mate of mine working in Nigerias on 90k a year and hes only 24

I dont plan to venture away from the north sea (Read as : Jade wont let me ) so i'll be happy if I can stick to 2 on 3 off or whatever similar paterned rotation until its time to retire. I could always get an onshore job at any time if i need to but its continentals & less ££.
