Long exposure on a narrow F-stop, well lit, plus a bit of photoshop I'd say.

Its all the torque going through the back wheels that makes it need one.

Take lots of photo's with different exposure, use photoshop/photomatrix to put them together....you get a high dynamic range...simple

I would say they have been taken with an DSLR, possibly sharpened slightly, or a very good piece of glass used. The bottom one seems to have had the colour channels played with to remove certain colours, I love photos like that, even done my own. This photo was washed out with street light but I dont know why but I really like it now, its not even particulary exciting either

How do you do that? I've got some pics that have too much yellow light in and need to get a bit out

I think my camera only does jpeg I could do Save As though and try it.

This is my camera, so it's not exactly anything fancy. I mainly wanted something really small but good quality that I could stick in my pocket

It's a loss-less format which means you can do what the hell you like and it won't degrade like a lossy JPEG. You can also adjust White Balance and recover blown highlights within 2-3 stops. It really is the only way to shoot but you need to know what your doing in PP.
