well yes its over the top people should have the right to bitch about whoever they want, however, they should not have stated they work in the supermarket if they had not then the supermarket would not give a crap tbh.

the bad publicity could cost the supermarket thousands in lost revenue its obvious they would chuck the employee instead of standing by them.

Me? Most of my 282 "friends" know anyway.

Back to the thread though I think it's normal for people to discuss customers if they work in a shop, in the same way that you'd remark about a colleague.

The only thing is, making a facebook group about it is a bit excessive maybe...

I think your asking for trouble taking the piss out of customers on Facebook. When I worked at Waitrose we had our fair share of nutters, soap shy tramps and plain wankers, but the piss taking did stay behind closed doors.

I suppose a certain degree of professionalism should be used no matter where you work. Its one thing having a snigger about someone in the stock room but to put stuff like that on a public website is just stupid.

In asda we had 'the smellies' who came in at night and reeked, really really bad, you could smell them isles away and the smell lingered for ages afterwards.

Also a guy that had just started, he reaked of BO, it was sickening working anywhere near him, manager had to have a word about it
