Sat at lights at a crossroads on the on my way home. Green light come on, I pull away along with the other two lanes, and a silly cow comes through what must have been red lights and T-bones me.

Drivers side door is completley crumpled, and the whole side of the car is scraped as far as and including the rear alloy.

We were both fine but my neck is hurting now. Completley gutted.

Yeah it will get repaired etc but it won't be the same.

Must say, Chris Knott were great on the phone before. Glad i'm with them.

ah dont worry about that mate, as long as a good bodyshop sorts it out, it will be good as new. its usually front enders that feel weird once theyve been repaired

the money is recovered from her insurance company, not herself so she isn't losing anything

TBH, it will be the repair shop taking the tape off so if it pulls paint off they will sort it. Its cheap gaffer anyway, not that strong!

Gutted for you

I know what you mean about it never being the same,

Some asswipe reversed into my gsi and I need the bumper repaired and sprayed and I know it will never be right again

But Id advise removing the tape also as thats gonna be a nightmare once its dried up

Unlucky Ben, gutted for you I hope it all gets sorted but I don't see why it won't be the same again, it doesn't look structural

How did you claim for injury? Does it affect the person you are claiming from?

looks horrid.

Graham88 - in the summer, just before I wad due to go on holiday, I got a court summons type thing through for the accident. I was like wtf am I going to prison? Anyway, just took it to the insurance company I was with at the time of the accident, and they sorted it, and paid out. That's the idea of Third Party insurance and particularly, Legal Cover.

It doesn't cause the person whos fault the accident was anything but stress when you first open it

I had a REAL claim of whiplash recently and got far more than that.

I went with one of those no win no fee brokers. Went on for a bit, had to do the ol'd reports, interviews, doctors etc, but if your really injured, do it.

If your not really injured, don't do it.

Was this the VXR? I'd be so angry that she'd jumped the lights. Hate red light jumpers, ignorent selfish tossers.
