My dad sent me down my race licence in the post and it was meant to be signed for but the postie just put it through the door without anyone signing for it.

He does this with quite a few items so now I'm a bit pissed off.

Do you have to wait a certain amount of time before you put a claim in?

If it's just recorded signed for, i don't think there's too much, you can claim for, £100 maybe, Special Delivery is £1000

(i think, i dunno, i just deliver the fucking things)

Also, i tend to post recorded letters if they fit through, saves people having to go 15 mins to the post office 2 days later to pick it up, imo i'm doing them a favour

Its the funniest thing around here going to the main sorting office to pick up a parcel. Theres a bloke in there who wears a wig, and it even looks fake, Its just short of the tag and chin strap. Will try to get a pic next time i go

Because I want to exploit them like they exploited my dad by him paying extra for the security of having it signed for

Don't mind going to the post office. I'd rather that than them leave it on the doorstep like they normally do!

Girl at work had this, was a parcel though with £130 worth of clothes and the guy came in put it on the reception desk and walked away. Couple days later she claimed and got a refund from the company!
