no not the beano and desperate dan

as all the film studios are buying up the rights for pretty much every comic book superhero every created, they are becoming a lot more mainstream.

do you think people that read them are geeks etc ? have you read or do you buy any ?

only ask because im a fan and i dont really know anyone else that is out of my mates.. i dont buy the monthly ones as they are normally more kiddy orientated. but the graphic novels are fantastic

Marvel's Civil War, Death of Captain America (fallen son), 1602
DC's Kingdom Come, Arkham Asylum, The Dark Knight Returns/The Dark Knight Strikes Again
Watchmen

They are all really good, great plots and characters plus lots of violence

am i sad ??

Never had the opportunity.

Wouldn't mind a gander, but don't know any places that sell them.

The imagery appeals to me in the same way the film Sin City did, which is obviously made to look like a moving comic book image.

Aren't they quite dear?

I've read Watchmen on a recommendation and really enjoyed it but that's about it.
