Going on Thursday with the missus until Sunday so need a few things to do in that time.

Anyone local point us in the right direction of some touristy things to do, decent restaurants, nice things to see etc.

She's keen to go to Sherwood Forest, but i haven't really thought of much. Maybe some caves or building ruins to see?

We'll hopefully be able to dodge the bullets.

Pit and Pendulum, I honestly love that place lol. For tourism sake there's the oldest pub(I think)? Trip to Jerusaelum...Dunno the name haha. Genuinly try not to get shot, I witnessed an attempted shooting in the middle of the day in the city centre. Was a main street as well haha.

I live about 7 miles from the city centre and i have never seen anything like this

But murders are pretty common. Nottingham id a very mixed city. If your rich, your very rich and drive a range rover with blacked out windows. If you poor, your probably black and into guns

That isnt that much interesting things to do besides shop and drink tbh

And there is also 11 different pubs in notts that claim to be the oldest in britain

Really?! Lol, I just remember the one I somehow ended up in(the one i mentioned) had a cellar that was the right temp for storing beer or something...i dunno, probably talking pish. It's more than likely. And honest to god, that really happened lol. It was new years eve, can't remember which year though. Few years ago now. I've been visiting Nottingham for years and that was the first trouble I ever witnessed. Dramatic so it was.

Might search out the Jerusalem.
There's a pub in Forty Green near me that claims to be the oldest free house in the country, so be interesting to compare.

Sounds like quite a dull town then really?
