I have an orange phone which i need to transfer all the numbers from over to my 3 phone, any suggestions on easy ways of doing it?

Copy all from phone to SIM card , then swap SIM cards then copy all from SIM to new phone...

will the orange phones pick up the 3 sim card?? as when i tried an o2 in the orange phone it wouldnt work

Do not copy to SIM. If you're like me and have multiple numbers per contact i.e. mobile, home, work it won't do them individually. Also, a SIM will only hold 100 numbers.
Your best bet is some kind of software. I only ever use Nokia's, so just use their Phone Suite bundled with the phone and it does it in a matter of seconds.
Not sure how going from manufacturer to manufacturer will work.

That's why I'm not going with 3 again, their current phones are epic fail imo. Especially on the cheap tariffs.
