just a question for a mate which i didnt know the answer to either. he is looking to put lots of sounds etc in his car and thinks he will need another battery to power it. so he is looking to put the other battery in the boot. how would he be able to do this? has any one done it before? Cheerz if anyone knows.

Don't you get power cap or something, which is like another battery in your boot, it takes charge from your alternator also, i'll ask my mate in a bit he had one!
but 2 battery's wouldn't be needed!

If he's putting a lot of amps and subs in it a second battery would be a good idea, power caps are normally a waste of time.
You need the battery and a split charging system and that's about it.
