just done a paper clip test on my girlfriends corsa 1.4 16v sport (w reg)

this is what we got:

0230 (which on the net says its the fuel pump)

0335 (which says its the cranksensor)

and 0170 which on the internet, doesnt have a solution for.

could any body shed some light on this, are these right? and any idea on what 0170 is?

My AutoData tells me that 0170 is ''Fuel Trim (FT), Bank 1 - malfunction'' with the probable causes being:

Intake leak, AIR system, fuel pressure/pump, injector(s), EVAP canister purge valve, HO2S

Sounds like fixing the fuel pump should help those issues, then double check if there is a problem with the crank sensor after that!

Cranksensor will show if the engine isnt running when you do the test.
