Like project cars etc when working on them and not being able to start engine for a bit is the only thing that could be affected the battery or do you risk seizing anything else (engine wise not brake drums etc ive had that done before

)

Yep.. Will take months for the oil to dissipate from all parts of the engine.

Jay i rebuilt my whole engine and that was adry as a nuns c*nt, i put fresh in just before starting, and took about 5mins to stop tapping fully, and that was 7 months.
