because you can push it a little now we are all in contact. if i arranged to meet someone at a certain time before mobile phones i would always be there. now if i want to i can call them and say i'll be ten mins.

I really like nights out created on facebook
It makes it easy to see who's going and who isn't...
Therefore if no one good is going don't bother attending, if your mates are all on the 'attending' then hell yeah!

I think it's a great idea but if you invite too many people it'll look like no one is going because there are 10 confirmed guests, 15 maybes and 300 not going, with 50 wall posts saying 'Sorry I would love to, but...'

It's easier to plan things when all the messages are in one inbox

some of us young kiddies grew up with mobiles phones at 15/16 when socailising that needing more planning than "footie at the rec, 4 o'clock?" on the school bus home and so never had chance to be without a phone!
for us (of which that must include you Ash your only a yr older) we know no different its those folks late 20s and older who would question how they managed!

Easy solution, don't read and stay in or get everyone to think your way.

Some of you young whippersnappers have never undergone the pleasure of speaking to your prospective new girlfriends dad before you can even arrange to meet them.
It's a world apart from a photomessage of your knob with the caption 'fancy a bit?'.
