Right reading a thread in GC i think, new girl got same colour car as me, she has sprayed her mirrors, mine need doing as well, buut i cant get a 100% (or similar) or colour match using halford rattle cans,
i thought my car was atlantis blue (28L i think), but she has used lifestyle blue (31L/276) and it appears a lot closer, more purpley than blue, like mine, is this the correct colour to use?
have gathered some images to show the colour
Car is september 1999 if that makes a difference
just to clarify, what is the paint code / correct paint name for my car?
mine:
her mirrors: (was told her car was lifestyle blue)
similar:
Karismas: (says his is atlantis blue)
cheers in advance guys

i have, it says 28l, so i google 28l and its atlantis blue, so off i toddle down to halfords, buy atlantis blue and use it, but wayhay its a totally dofferent colour, more a baby blue colour, not dark enough and without the purple effect ythat it has going on, thats why i was wondering if xxxashxxx may be right by using lifestyle blue

Halfrauds rattle cans are the shitest paint match you can get, dont waste your money on them. take it to a body shop and have it done properly.

you'll rarely get a decent match using rattle cans, + i believe your facotry paint is water based = fades quick
your car is exact same as mine FAZ 28L Atlantis blue, ive seen you car in the flesh before so im certain,
stop being lazy and take a drive to VRS paint refinishers in boston as they know theyre stuff about paint

cans ready mixed from a paint shop are only about 8 quid. not much dearer than halfrauds and you get a proper match
