Anyone been....?

I've been twice but both times before I was 21 so was always kicked out or asked to move on from the casino / bars etc.

Thinking of going with the missus in June if I can get it off work!

Where have you stayed and where would you reccomend! I want to be on the strip but more central (Circus Circus / Stratosphere is too far down)

Imperial Palace is where I have stayed both times I've been but its one of the older more basic ones on the Strip (also one of cheapest) is it worth paying maybe £100 (per person) more for a week to stay in likes of...

MGM Grand
Monte Carlo
Luxor
Excalibur
New York New York

End of day its only some where to sleep in Vegas as spend most of time else where!

Need to ask for week off same time as gf tomorrow and then see what deals I can come up with!

thats what i thought, theres no point in paying extra if your only spending your time sleping in a room. may aswell put the cash saved towards poker

i've been but like you i was under 21 so wasn't as good as it could have been. i stayed at the Luxor which was a pretty cool hotel. as said you can just wander into any of the hotels you fancy so it might not be worth paying top dollar at one of the better ones. saying that i am fully intending to go back this year and i'm gonna stay at new york, new york.

Have told the missus if she wants me to propose to her she's gotta take me to vegas

I would love to go, but i'd need at least 1k spending money for the week, £150 a night at casinos would probably do me, but i don't think i could trust myself on them tbh.

£100 per week isn't really much more tbh, only £15 a night. So i guess it's whether the perks are worth the price of a few drinks or not.

Saying that, you could probably get a grand canyon trip or something for £100odd couldn't you, instead of paying extra for the room

Those are cheapest prices so far prices are dropping all the time

Mandala Bay.

Also the girls have the hottest uniforms.

Never seen it before, we went in. The rooms were big, the beds huge. Very well fitted.

I just didn't get the same "feel" from the others.

Go shooting. Something I missed out on, but theres a shooting range.
