Seems silly to do for a lightbulb though, dont you think? I know some of the CTR users on here have to remove arch liners, but the whole front bumper

removing the front bumper wont give you anymore access to it,
remove the airbox? I managed to do mine with the airbox top off, it's just 4 clips.
as for removing the batrtery, remove the retaining bolt at the bootom of the battery then remove the two terminals and take the battery out!

Astra's can be done piece of piss iirc you just twist it and it should pull out.
Quit your whinging about dropping the bumper - you HAVE to do it on a facelift Corsa C!

ShEp not sure about the layout of your GSi, the drivers one (airbox) is fine, the passenger one has all sorts of gubbins in the way thats connected to the chassis and what not, stuff that I dont know what it does.
Rich I know you just twist it its getting to it thats the problem

it's the same for me in my corsa because i have air-con etc
taking the headlight out is probably your best option - that's what i have to do
