Having a problem with a 1.4 Corsa, it's a 1993/4 model 8v carb. Think it's a similar engine to a 1.4 SR Nova but don't really know.

The problem is it seems to be massivly over fuelling and running pig rich. The MOT centre think the carbs naggered, is this a common problem with these and is there a simple fix?

I've looked at Weber conversion carbs but this runs to over £200 just for the kit and the car isn't really worth spending that on the engine. Really need some help fast.
