Right the old threads getting confusing now so heres the problem....
Car turns over but wont fire i removed the king lead from the coil and turned it over and it was getting a spark.... put the king lead back onto the dizzy and hey presto it fired up!!
It ran sweet for abouttttt 10 seconds then began hunting and idling upto 2k and down so low that it cut out.... after it cut out i tried to restart but it wouldnt.. i removed the king lead again which was still sparking tried to fire up agen but it just turned over no joy.
I just went outside again to see if the the king lead was saprking but the dizzy wasnt and now theres no spark at all from the dizzy or the coil ...
Its like the coil doesnt permantly give a spark its only doing it when it feels like it but theres got to be something thats causing it to do that and i dont know what.
cant under stand it at all any help will be much appreciated 1 as im fcuking pissed off with it beyond words and 2 i need to get to work lol.

Old thread isn't getting confused. Starting another one is confusing!
As I've said, replace the fuel pump relay and/or crank sensor. They are the only things that really affect the spark. (as long as you know the coil is a good one!)

as said before on msn mate, change the fuel pump relay, should be in the engine bay on yours. will only take you 2 mins to change over

Possible Causes i think could be
Fucked Coil/Coil Amplifier
Shit Earths on the engine,
Coolant Temp Sensor
Crank Sensor.
Air Flow Meter
possibly a few others but would check those first.

today i put a load of new breather pipes on around the inlet and throttle body area also put a different set of injectors on it and checked all the earths on the loom and cleaned and tightened them up fitted a new coolant temp sensor aswell and it fires up!!!!!!! so now it seems to be starting ok but it wont idle you have to rev it up to keep it running and it missfires a bit too any ideas guys?? other than scrap it ha ha

Unplug the AFM and see if it'll idle that way?
When mine went it wouldnt idle atall with it plugged in but would unplugged, although it was very rough!

just established the reason it wasnt sparking was because the theink with the black plug and the red and blue wires that go to the coil is fooked so swapping that over as we speak aswell as sorting out the idling situation next
