Im also lacking inspiration on what to shoot, so thinking of having a weekly/how ever often we decide on new challenges/themes on what to go out and shoot?.

thinking it could be quite good (be a bit like the photoshop challenge) where we get given a theme/task/breif and go out and take some photos and then get votes at the end of the task and everyone can get some c+c on their pictures.

2 WEEKS PER TASK!

yeh monthly would probably be better , now we just need a challenge to get us started

Canon I think. TBH I don't know that much about cameras but hoping to learn a bit more once I've blagged his stuff

He's getting an Olympus Mju Tough 6000 to use for a while and is then getting the Nikon D700x when it's released in the summer

Edit: Just asked him, it's a Canon 30D. Lenses are: Tamron 11-17mm, Tamron 17-50mm, Canon 50mm, Canon 28-135mm and Sigma 50-500mm

yeh tbh i dread to think the cost of the 2 lens's alone that i mentioned

tamron 11-18 = £270 new
sigma 50-500 = £1049 new

Depends on whether they are the same lens's as google bought up but still.

When this was tried last,, it was left a month iirc and after 2 months everyone lost interest because the task was done, and then forgot the thread was here. Maybe fortnightly ?

Need a new camera, have some great idea's but limited by mine atm.

Thinking A700 > A900 if i can get a stupid credit crunching deal

yeh that was my thinking just tbh cause the main reason for this was so i had something to do tonight

changed to 2 weeks now give everyone a bit less time but also means camera will be used more.
