Have you got the transponder and pickup for the new ECU?

Afraid its not going to work anyway then, you will just get a flashing ECU light that tells you the immobiliser is on.
But as for the wiring it should just be a case of matching the colours, so either get another square plug from a corsa in the scrap yard or just cut the flat one from your old 1.2 ECU

so can you tell me which plug it is from the pics?
because its 9wires from the engine to 14 in the dash isnt it?
would they all be in 1 plug of the 1.2 loom?
wouldnt it be some out of the white and some out of the black plug?

It was a few years saince I did all this and never had a 1.2 but....
Will the the plug in your hand in the second picture plug into the black plug in the first picture? From memory thats the main one to run the car. also did the blue and green plugs get removed with the 1.2 loom or are they part of the car loom?

i dont think it will, but will have a loot at it ina bit.
the blue and green ones are just fuses and are part of the car loom.
atm i dont have any warning lights from the engine, such as engine management.. so im guessing i need to plug them in, to get power there...
also, to get electronic power steering to work, its the eps wire to the speedo wire isnt it? do you know what both of these look like?

The engine may still work without the transponder and chip, as some came without an immobiliser.
