Ive been thinking about getting one ever since I saw this little fella when I was in Barcelona
I coulda stayed and watched him for ages!
Anyone got any tips/advice etc? Are some breeds better with being handled than others?

my parents have a green iguana, they get quite big and it hurts if they whip you but other than that theyre good pets, lives on fruit and veg

No offence but i dont really like that one I would love one like the one in the picture, but it was massive and the tank was about 10ft long so realistically I guess its out of the question!

my tank is 5ft by about 2 m high and the iguana is about 5 foot long tail included, its pretty docile tbh, getting old now, and not the best pic. had it about 13 year i think

I think im gonna try to find a book or something about keeping them, make sure I know what im letting myself into etc. It shouldnt be too hard though I guess? Are they better alone or in pairs?

Hmmm, looks like they are better off kept alone!
"Despite what you may see in wildlife documentaries, iguanas are not social animals in captivity and putting two together may result in serious injury or even death. Even if they manage to co-exist in “peace”, the less dominant animal will suffer, in terms of food and environment, and will become sickly and not grow properly as a result. "
