That's interesting to read Nic, as I have used both Uniroyal Rainsport's and Goodyear Eagle F1's, and found the F1's grippier, as well as lasting about double the time?

I'm not sure if I used Rainsport 1's or 2's, but the F1's were the GSD3's. Both in 195/45/15 btw.

I know, hence why you stating that you were after 40's as 45's look a bit didn't work with what you quoted of mine, as the tyres I used were 195/45/15's. I was just giving a quick review of the tyres I have used, not trying to recommend a tyre size to you.

Eagle F1's all the way, was never impressed with my Toyo's, I found Yoko Parada's pretty good though.

Got Bridgestone Potenza's at the minute and they are excellent.

Dunlop Sport are awsome. Done 42k on one up front. Needs replacing but 42k for a front tyre is really good. Backs look like new still.

£70 a corner for mine but well worth it!
