Fact off the day:
An acre of corn will give off 4,000 gallons of water per day in evaporation.

Looks cold and windy out side

I've been up all night! Couldn't sleep and at 4am I decided to stay up and wait for the delivery man as I've bought a new lens for my camera and I know if I miss it (which I probably will if I'm sleeping), they'll take it down to the sorting office and use it as a football.

It's Special Next Day Delivery so it's meant to be before 1pm, but normally the driver comes proper early (from now onwards really).

Can't wait for it to turn up so I can go to bed.

Morning

Hopefully my Satnav will come today, need it for the meet

xazeros: I think they stick the special delivery in the front of the van round here and drop it off when they get round here. Used to see the van in the morning sometimes with grey/blue bag things on top of the dashboard behind the window.

They're shit? Tried signing on when I was in hospital for 4 months after nearing dying from a severe Liver injury. I was still employed the whole time, but I got no sick pay off my employer and I apparently wasn't eligible for SSP due to not paying enough tax. I have been working full time since I was 16 and I'm now 21!

But fine, fair enough... I then recovered after a year and went back to work. Worked for 2-3 months and then had the 'eye incident' which I'm still off work now because. That was 6 months ago. I put a claim in literally 2 weeks after, and it's still going on! I've had to send them absolutely EVERYTHING, pay slips since I was 16, tons of sick notes (even for irrelevant illnesses), doctor notes, various meetings and so on. After absolutely everything possible had been sent and returned, they've just sent a letter asking for most of it back! Each letter takes 2-3 weeks to get a response, if you get a response at all. Constant chasing and absolutely nothing.

So, I've worked since I was 14 (full time since I was 16), paid stupid amounts of tax and then had two unfortunate injuries (both not my fault). I was off for over a year, back for 2-3 months and now off for 6 months (and counting) without receiving a PENNY from anyone.

...and the whole time my fucking neighbour is getting paid out silly amounts from them for complaining about his back which he openly admits he's lying about!

It's an absolute joke. Be prepared for a long, long ride...
