c16 is slightly different tom.

bigger exhaust/inlet ports iirc

on a standard x14xe wouldnt make much difference though tbh

i thought the ports on the c16 are bigger than x14/x16 so therefore more power but the blocks are all the same may be wrong tho

What about with a rep inlet, 421 and decat? Even a little bit of difference?

O well ive changed one before and they looked identical and didnt make no diff on the other car tbh was exactly the same performance wise!!

should see gains of about 10-15bhp matey but you will see a difference

10 to 15 BHP i very much doubt it just form swapping the heads!!

so your saying puting a 1.6 head on a 1.4 will put the power up to near the power of a 1.6

not a chance of that much!!

best head is actually off the x16xel iirc

no the xel shaun will give it more torque but less bhp as the ports are narrower!!

You will see good gains jake out of that you will push about 10 bhp but the torque will be alot better in the higher rev range, that should answer your question instead of getting confused with this lot!!
