Putting some vectra Sri seats onto my Corsa subframes today before I went ahead and bought the gsi recaros and they didn't fit even though everyone said they would are gsi recaros different to the sris or am I doing something wrong?

i stripped the runners etc off the standard corsa subframes,so i was just left with the 2 base plate bits that bolt onto the floor pan.

Then just mounted them onto the recaro runners

We've stripped down the corsa subframe but cant seem to separate the runners from the base plate, can you help me out here, and also have you got a step by step guide?

this is what i was left with out corsa subframes


this is the recaro runner fitted onto the corsa base plates.
I measured the width of the recaro runners before removing them so i new they were the correct width when lining them up with corsa ones


ended up with this.


was going to get a few tac welds up the sides as i couldnt see any suitable way to bolt through

only problem i had is getting the bolt in the floor pan on the runner on the handbrake side as the racaro runner covers the hole slightly.was thinking ot taking a check out of it to allow space

however project is abandoned
