'It is possible that putting the parent company into administration could save the club from a 10-point deduction. '

We were owned by a fucking parent company. I'm going to burn Southampton to the ground if the FL don't deduct them points on those grounds.

£13 million in parachute payments, the sale of Walcott and Bale and they're still fucked.

Some serious problems in the game of football just now.

Nath - Ive always wondered about the deal with parent companies, didnt realise you were owned by one (although for tax reasons would expect most clubs to be).

The thing with holding companies is that they can hold many other companies within them. So the football club could be making a huge amount of profit, yet the other companies could be making huge losses causing the holding company to go tits up.

But Im not sure the FA has any rights to demand to see the holding companies books to make the decision on what caused the losses - the football club or the other things.

Yep, Jayten were our holding company.

It sounds like straw clutching anyway, I'm sure they'll suffer the same fate as ourselves.

Better take the point deduction now maybe? would that mean no point penalties for next year?

That'd mean certain relegation though, whereas atm they're 3 points away from being out of the relegation zone, with a game in hand.

I don't think they'll stay up, so they might as well. Then they best hope they can agree a CVA too, so they can avoid yet more points deductions next season!

If anyone goes into administration and is relegated then the 10 point deduction will be next season. If the team stays up then the 10 pont deduction will be this season

I think they're as good as down so might as well take the penalty.

Holding company shouldn't save them if the holding company is in fact the same organization.

I had a horrible feeling this would happen!

Especially after the big report on the Championship the other month!

There is a chance we could stay up, but if we are hit with that 10 point penalty then it looks like im waiting longer to see the Southampton highlights on a sunday morning!

I don't want you to get 10 points deducted, it then gives Norwich a chance to stay up.

Let me guess, you sport either

Man Utd
Liverpool
Chelsea
Arsenal?

You are the reason these clubs are falling to bits.

nup, im claret through and through. Beaten two of the above team's this season and if we would of got to the carling cup final, maybe three of the above team's.

So it's nothing to do with Burnley that team's like Southampton are falling to bit's!

Dear Cunts,

Give us our fucking points back NOW!

Yours,

Nathan
