Well, most of you know that I got injured pretty badly 5-6 months ago resulting in me being blinded in one eye -- unable to work due to operations and treatment, understandably my employer has said it it cannot continue and I will be made redundant soon. Not the best news you wish to receive in the credit crunch.

I won't be ready to return to work for a good few months as I'm due a bit operation next month to completely reconstruct my face using a titanium frame as parts of my skull got damaged beyond repair.

Sooo... What's this got to do with Facebook?

Basically, seeing as I'm not going to be working for some time, I've decided to start my own little business to bring in some money as I've received nothing for 6 months now. It's nothing serious and I don't intend on getting rich from it, but every penny helps. I'm currently working on the website, but whilst that's in construction I've made a Facebook page advertising what I do.

I'd be extremely grateful if you become a fan. Even if you're not interested in anything on there, someone on your list may be and I might get a sale out of them seeing you becoming a fan.

I realise it's a bit cheeky asking on a forum, but I've been here for ages now so hopefully it won't be considered spam.

A big thank-you if you do decide to help me out.

Knew you had the accident but didn't realise you had been injured quite THAT badly!

Looks like a good business idea, although there is alot of competition out there. Good luck. And well done for not just sitting on your arse feeling sorry for yourself!

where'd you get your canvases from? Iv got someone wanting to buy some of my shots on canvases and the only place i have really found is togsprint so far.

Done- got to be honest and say I thought you came across as a bit of a twit at times- but fair play for doing something and I wouldnt wish whats happened to you on anyone. Think you deserve a break so hopefully it goes well for you.
