hi i'm going to be runing my car at the pod this year but was wondering ive got a set of 14 inch nova sr alloys but want to fit 225/50/14 toyo r888s but was wondering will they rub on my suspension struts (only runing them on front.

Will 225's actually go on SR's? They are quite thin wheels and those are wide tyres!

225 tyres are far too wide for a corsa IMO.

You are better going for 195 50 14 or 195 45 14. 225 will balloon and you will get shit road contact, unless you run low pressure then run the risk of the wheel slipping in the tyre due to the huge grip the tyre would have.


I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

curntly runing 205/55/14 yokos and wanted to try them but if they dont fit are well

195/50/16's id rather 205's but they catch bad enough.
