I've been refused mine for 2 cautions within the last 3 years  so just had to appeal, anyone had to do the same? What was your circumstances and outcome?

Security Industry Authority, You need a licence from them to work on the door, clamp cars and be close protection etc.

its a badge that once aquired allows people to work the doors of a nightclub it also enables them to:
ignore the dick heads who are actually starting fights in the nightclub.
sell numerous drugs from the doors.
attack and throw out people who are not actually doing anything wrong but look weak.
constantly harras every young pretty girl who wants to go to said nightclub.
generally act like arse holes and not actually do the job there paid for.
* applys to about 80% of door men, i admit theres a few decent ones.

I've actually thought about doing the course to enable me to do apply for license.
How much does the license cost??
Think the course is around 90 not sure

Depending on what licence you want depends what course you take, my course was £450 and my licence £245.
Reason im appealing is my first caution was for pushing over a traffic warden and the second i had a scuffle with my brother, fingers crossed.

I am but never had any cautions so wouldnt know the outcome etc...which reminds me does it need updating? been a good year since ive done any security work!

I was young and immature, was over 3 years ago and I learnt from my actions. That was until the other incident but that was due to us both being drunk as it was new year.

I'd say only chance is an appeal mate, i can ask some the guys i work part-time with see if they can offer advice.
Im having trouble renewing mine as my documents are constantly "Incorrect"
