can anyone tell me where the EGR valve is on a corsa b 1.4 16v ecotec engine plz.
iv been told at the front on top of the ex manifold and under the inlet manifold.
need to no which it is.
any help much appreciated.

The EGR valve is below the inlet manifold but let someone who's more clued up on the x14/16 engines than me lol

egr valve is below the inlet manifold , gearbox end, right arsehole to get to.

take the battery and the header tank of and look behind the inlet and you will see a cylinder shaped object coming from the lower inlet at around a 4 o clock angle

thanx everyone.
problem is, engine management light came on, so had it tested by auto elec.
told me fault code said EGR flow.
i've been offered another EGR valve off a tigra, which i think wd prob fit, but needed to know were it is,
sounds like a c**t of a place to get to.
i'll ava look and maybe give it a try.

dont bother spending a fortune and getting a new one. just go to vauxhalls and get a blanking plate and get rid of it

have to have the egr connected still or you'll have the eml on all the time.

yeah i think a blankin plate is gonna b the way to go.
been to local garage and ws told EGR is not cheap, but i knew that anyway, but they can put in blankin plate and reset ecu, for £65+vat.
wd u say thats a good price?
i wdnt know where to start doin it for myself!!
