You must have owed them it fo a while.
Although ebay and paypal are a joke with fees now, it's not as if we don't know about them, you're lucky they've just suspended the account and aren't chasing you up for the money.

But you only need 100 people and thats £100.
1000 and thats £1k
10,000 and thats £10k
Given the number of people using ebay i can see their point.

Will they fuck, to get their £1 back they would have to spend £000's on sorting a debt collector out.

They charge you for that do they not?
I've heard plenty of stories about them being sent out for ebay and paypal, not sure about for sums quite that low though.

debt collectors do come, yes as i have experienced. i owed them 8 pound for about 5 months then got a letter from a debt collector which with fees mounted up to 30something so i payed it before they sent the lifters round.

the debt collectors buy the bad debt from ebay, they thn chase you down for this debt and add collectors fee's accordingly.
i would presume ebay have a long running arrangment with one particular debt collection agency.

I REMEMBER in the good old days of ebay when no one got scammed, you could use any payment you wanted and you could sell illegal stuff.
