From looking at the location of the power steering pump and radiator fan, im gathering i have to relocate them?
would a slimline fan do? or would i need to set the red further forward (away from the manifold)?

If you're going to use power steering then you have to get a conversion bracket for it.
I got rid of mine altogether, was just easier. Or you could use EPAS, expensive to get hold of but worth it when it's all set up.

Ok thanks, i do have the conversion bracket, and the EPS wont fit on a hydraulic steering rack iirc.
what about the fan? also do i need to "modify" my bulkhead to fit the tophat in or not? (as you do for the Mtech Power cap on the XE?

you can use a electric pas pump from a saxo or 106 easyier to fo imo, i got rid of mine tho, dont like pas at all

you would have to change the rack as well for epas. You dont need to modify the bulkhead let top hats fit fine. i moved my rad back this allowed me to fit a calibra turbo fan, alot better as they are aluminium if you can get it in! Since changing my exhaust mani i have had to go to a slim line fan tho.
You can pick them up of the bay for about £40

i have a slimline fan on my let, purely as i had one.
i have a 3inch tophat and also didnt have to cut the bulkhead

I have a slimline fan on mine mike. A 10" one, if you need one, i can get them pretty cheap. Also i have a calibra turbo fan in the garage not being used if you want it?
