Firstly, I'm getting no pressure from my washer jets on my car (All 3,, Thats front 2 and rear). Its full of screenwash but it just dribbles out and barely reaches the window. Any ideas whats wrong with it?

Secondly, will this fail an MOT?

could be the washer pump faulty. or you got blocked jets???? could also be the filter which the pump sits in to when fited to the tank. take it out and cut the bottom off. should be ok then

I wouldn't take the filter off TBH, unless you want blocked jets/pipes all the time.

yeah it would fail an MOT if you cant hear the pump working then check all the connections (fuse if there is one) or your pump may have gone.

What car is it?

You'll need to get the filter out of the washer bottle and check its not blocked up.

If its clear, you should check/change the washer pump (few quid from Halfords etc).

Will be unlikely that you have blocked jets if they all don't work very well.

How can it be a fuse if there is still water coming out when you turn the jets on?

Can you hear the pump going?
If yes then it will be either blocked jets or blocked filter.
My jets blocked so i took some speaker wire stripped the plastic off and twisted 4 of the copper lengths together (so its thin enough to go down inside the hole of the jet) then just push about 1cm in and poke about.Test them after, then repeats steps on other jets
Might be something else though lol.

Yeah, they pump fine. It reaches just below the where the wipers sit at the bottom of the window, so no where near enough to clean dirty windows.

How do I take filter out?

dont take any filter out mate, take pipes off pump and try it, if water gushes it the pump is fine and its just your lines are blocked.
it would more than likely be the pump motor itself breaking down and only picking up a bit of water

Just noticed, when i try to do the back ones, it comes out the front, but even less than it does when I try to do the actual front ones. Does this make it easier to figure out whats going on?

look for where you top washers up, follow it down and see where it goes, i think it mught be behind the wheel arch on a clio, depending where the washer bottle is. there will be a little plug on it with 2 wires on the plug. take the plug off and if you have a muti tester, plug it onto the wires and get somebody to work the switch and see how much power it is getting.

I saw something with 2 wires next to the washer bottle actually. Its protected by a huge cage thing I think. Couldn't see how to get said cage off though

pull the cage lol, just use the force, or giant scredriver. always works.
or you may have to take other bits and bobs off to take the cage off propperly. have ya got a pic of said cage ?? might be able to give ya a hand with a pic lol
