Modifications needed but it is possible.

Mines yet to be bolted in as its got to be repainted. Didnt use base plates either, just bolted straight to the floor

fair one.
gives added strength to where the cage bolts in if you use the plates.
I was going to do something similar to my sunroof mate, decided to get a carbon fibre jobby instead as will be easier and most prob looks tidier
i hope

Yea agree with you there, i found a company near me who'll make a fibreglass one, cheaper than CF and wont brake up my red/white theme.

who was making that for £120 fazza? I neeeeeed one!
I took my sunroof out the other day and cut the huge metal section out the back for the cage to sit in, but mis-marked the panel when it was in and didnt cut the hole in the correct place
a CF one would be good though!

Call me a spoilsport, but having had a full cage in my nova, and seeing how much my insurance rose (50%), it might be worth you guys checking out what difference it makes. They are never looked upon well by insurance companies, trust me, and premiums are very heavily loaded accordingly. To those who say don't declare it - hope you never ever get involved in an accident.
