Hi all here we go again, this project started out on my r reg green corsa it was all finished bar the 17s. they came and went on then found out that on full lock turing left the wheel was fouling on the inner body of the car.i tried all most everything to sort it out but no luck........any way i won a red gsi bumper on ebay and had some odd color skirts, so i then found a red corsa for 100 quid on a k reg so i have now re-shelled the green one and it all lines up happy days. here are some pics before and after let me know what u think.

i will get some more pics on when the skirts and rear disk beam and spoiler are on.

yes why not...only did it coz the cav was sitting around rusting. all thats left is 2nd and 4th gear body kit (gsi) and the V5 so another few weeks and it will be done.

I like this.

Some finished engine bay pics wold be nice.

The XEV looks so much more at home in the bay than an XE.

Get some vids up of how it goes too.

will do she on ramps at the mo due to fitting pas system and sorting the gears out. another week and she will be out in sun and had a good old washing and t-cut. will post a vid later.............

You WILL NOT be disapointed. These engines are so cheap and not as expensive as the redtops. Youve made a great choice. Just wait till you get it on the road.

You will need to sort the alternator out as it will catch the chasis leg.

yes i have changed the alternator to a single V and the V style pas pump. i just need to lower the arm as it is hitting the pas adjusting arm argh!!!! just got some 10mm plate off my dad so i will be cutting four yes 4 plates out happy days.

I HATE CARS lol. just lowered the arb 20mm all ok then pas belt that was ok filled up the res bottle then off the ramps turning to get the fluid round then pop goes my joint on the pipe, all i can say is what a fcuking messsssssssssssssssssss

Went out for a quick spin tonight...all seams to be ok a couple of rattles but nothing to worry about. the tracking needs to be done coz foot down and the car did not know which way to go!!! theirs a few more bits to do like the rear disk beam to go on and so on.......
