Linux nOOb here (never used it before!)

I'm looking at building a NAS/media server. I want to run a wired internet connection into the box and have it served wirelessly to my laptop and another PC in the house. I haven't got a wireless router at the moment, and don't want one, so thought I could just stick a netgear PCI wireless adapter in.

I'm planning on running ClarkConnect OS softerware (http://www.clarkconnect.com/index.php) on there, as it forms a good basis for the media aspect.

Any reason why it wouldn't work? Presumably the PCI wireless adapter will allow me to share the internet over it?
