its around 12seconds :O
its got power box on aswell!!
can you think why?
when i timed it i short shifted in 1st at just over 5,000 rpm but every other shift was fine and launch was good.
seems like a massive flat spot from about 4,800-5,500 any ideas what that could be.
cheers

power box's have this flat spot so to speak. Don't know why i think its something to do with the vacume.. My 1.4 would do it in under 10 seconds but that was a excellent start and everything just went right

well it idle's fine, and revs fine and every thing, so im pretty sure ive put everything on correctly.
the car has recently been serviced aswell.
every now and then the vacum pipes have been known to pop off if i rag it, its doe it twice since the power box was fitted but not done it for a weeks now, and i spent all night hammering it.
it doesnt seem to pull how it should in 1st and 2nd, 3rd is good so is 4th and 5th. although it struggles to get over 100mph.?
really stumped by this 1

ah the struggling to get over 100 is what i had.. turned out to be a duff MAP sensor and i changed the CTS and the o2 sensor aswell.
best think for the vacume hoses is get some 3mm id hose off ebay.. mine never had a problem after that
