Ok so i managed to find out how to keep the date on constant when i have the radio on in my car (by cutting the grey wire with the red stripe). It works perfectly in my car. I let my mate know and cut his for him and now his radio / hazards dont work and the time and date 'flash' when you have the lights on. Its def the correct wire before anyone says and it did work when we tested it (for like 10 secs) when i done it... then next day all that started happening.
Anyone have any ideas?

Check the fuses, I think the hazards and the radio are on the same one.
