Ive learnt not to skimp on tyres after many near-in-the-ditch attempts, using cheap tyres like events etc. I went to goodyear eagle F1's and never looked back.

Ive ran Nankangs on quite a few cars over the years and not 1 single problem to report on them.Found them really grippy when running them on my old V6 Mk3 Gsi and Cavalier Gsi LET.

And id still buy them to this day no matter what the internetz sayz.

Yeah, I was deffinately going too quick for the conditions but was doing the speed limit. The back slipped over a sunken manhole cover on a very off camber corner and once they broke grip I couldnt regain it. Shocking tyres in wet weather if im honest and I deffinately learnt a thing or two from it

So you honestly think if you had some £100 a corner tyres it would have made a difference? I'm thinking not.
