Ok need some help quickly.
Story so far:
Took my 1.6 sport in to have the astra gte 16v brakes fitted
All going well they put the wheels on but Oh Noes! my 16" alesio's hit the calipers! I was totally unaware i would have this problem.
The guys at the garage sourced some spacers (5mm) but no where local had them so for 5 pounds they drove an hour and a half to get me some
So i thought only a few hitches ill have my car back today..........
........ or not. Now i need extended wheel bolts, they missed the delivery to get them for tomorrow and wont arrive untill friday (when im suppose to be traveling to see my gf in uni and pick her up)
So now the main question is: Where the hell can i get extended wheel bolts that are suitable for the upgrade that will also do same day delivery to the south?
Any help is great, thanks

they have done something wrong as 2.0 calipers should be no where near your wheel size

Well unless ive been given v6 brakes
They are an exhaust and brake centre so sshould know what they are doing.
Would i suffer this problem if they are v6 brakes? They weigh a ton and needed two industrial bin bags to carry them

Some people have had problems with 2.0 brakes and Speedlines I seem to remember.

I think you can usually get away with grinding a bit of the caliper, or post in regionals and see if anyone can help you out with some longer bolts.

Cheers joe, i now know they are 2.0l brakes as v6 didnt come as four stud.
I did say grind a bit off but they refused which i can see their point tbh (just shows they wont bodge it) I see my friday being spent waiting for the bolts to arrive only for another problem to arrise

just take the wheel off and get filing/grinding yourself

or get some different wheels?

the spacers will make them rub if you down quite low

Im down 55-60mm at the front but think i have enough clearance (5mm is nothing)
New wheels is a no no
The car is stuck at the garage with no wheels so cant just go in there and grind stuff off lol.
Just need some longer wheel bolts asap

i had this problem last week mate when my dad gave me some allessio`s off a gsi hes building i thought the drive shaft had gone,it turns out the middle of the wheel near the bolt flat was just catching on the calliper on the lugs near the spring , if you can picture were i mean !.
so my dad just ground some off the calliper lugs , jobs a good un.

Well they ground the bits off at my request but it will still need the spacers as the wheels are ctaching on the spring that stop the calipers rattling around when not in use. So close yet so far

ive got meriva 280mm brakes with my 16" and they dont seem to be a problem, i though the 2.0L ones were only a couple of mm bigger than sport and were 25mm wide rather than 20?

Its down to my wheels, alessio's seem to be a different shape on the inside.
The GTE discs are not much different but the pads and calipers are much bigger,i think the piston is bigger aswell.
