hey all
i have several problems with my car.
the first thing is that i have trouble gettin over speed bumps, i have the combat kit (which is flushed onto the car), which is lowered 40mm with springs. is there any kind of suspension i could get that could let me rise it when going over speed bumps or going into my garage?
Also, does anyone else have any problems with getting chips over there modded bumper (combat/panique etc etc) cos mine is gettin badly chipped.
is there anyway of preventing this (except from driving on the motorway :rolleyes
i have hard of some kind og gel? has anyone tried that.
thanx for the help

as for stone chips - theres not a lot you can do, just touch it up properly every now and again, and it wont be noticable.
The suspension problem is going to have to be hydraulics or if thats too much, which it probably is going to be, get really stiff suspension setup, shocks and springs.

cheers. i did thought of hydraulic suspension but its just too expensive.
would coilovers work? cos a mate was telling me they allow u to adjust the ride hieght.
so how do lot get over speed bumps?
also, how do i jack up the car, it has combat side skirts and im finding it difficult to put the vauxhall jack under the car?

What size rims are you on?
Whats the distance between the bottom of your bumper to the ground?

Get a gel coat on yer bumper to stop some chips, coilovers aren't a quick thing to adjust the height on, deffo not for speed bumps, would be stupid.
And drive onto some wooden planks to get a jack under ur skirts...
