Bathroom cleaner might actually be a good idea as it kills mildew.

My uncle left a fiat marea in a field for about 3-4 years and it happened to that, steering wheel/seats were ruined, apparently it wouldnt of happened if the one window was down a tiny bit though

either carpet cleaner or vanish in the spray bottle, a bucket of hot water and a m/fibre cloth. Spray the area, leave to soak then wipe with the cloth cleaning it in the hot water. Once your done use a dry cloth to remove excess water. Job done.

quote: Taken from the car care guide on the Polished Bliss website
If you own a relatively new car or have looked after the interior of your car relatively well, then the chances are the advice given in this guide will be sufficient to enable you to achieve great results. However, if your interior has one or more of the following problems, you would be better off in the first instance employing the services of a professional valeter; badly stained fabrics and/or carpets, obvious mould or mildew, unpleasant musty odours and strong tobacco smoke odours. Such problems need to be remedied using specialist chemicals and professional cleaning equipment, and it is quite easy to make them worse by trying to fix them yourself.
If you would prefer to do the work yourself, wait till Rich H gets online and see what he says, or you could phone Polished Bliss (0845 4540017). They're always able and willing to give good free advice.

fwiw i used mould and mildew cleaner for household use (green bottle from a supermarket) on my fabric bed where a bit of mould had taken hold, and it came off really well, with no damage to the fabric.
I'd definately try that before calling out a valet.
even a mild bleach solution wiped on with a kitchen sponge should do a pretty decent job on it.
