Putting stuff on eBay what my mums had in storage from her newsagents which she had for 20 years, she reckons these must of been tucked away somewhere for years...
its like brand new, found it in a sealed box amongst other less interesting stuff (birthday cards etc), more interestingly wrapped in a newspaper dating 1988.
Tempting to get the bunsen burner going on this and make some explosions

Are there car adverts in there? When we were clearing out the upstairs in the workshop we found papers from the early 90s, Cavaliers and Sierras for 10 grand

Chemistry set There are no car adverts in the paper I'm reading just now That may be because it's from 1944

Sorry it wasn't '44 it was May 10th 1940. Not much was going on really. Just the Nazi's invaded Holland and Belgium and bombed many Airports

That chemistry set ruled! Got to love a product designed for children that has toxic and harmful COSHH labels on nearly everything in the box

I had the chemistry set too
Can't remember doing any of the experiments, but can remember finding this balaclava on the way home from school one day and wearing it with the goggles from the set pretending to be a super hero

I never had the chemistry set, but I did have some sort of electronics set. I remember being able to hear French radio when I connected the Radio wire to my radiator. WTF is that about?!

Did you ever sample one of your concoctions? That would explain a lot.

it's broadcast on Long Wave - covers a much larger area than say a medium wave signal, hence you can pick it up from over here... I'm not going into the science of it lol! I suppose the only down fall is the quality is shit lol
