There probably was, they were just in the glovebox, and after they smashed te window, they may have been abit easier to obtain....

This was posted up on FocusRSoc.com.
Correct, the guy was going to be collecting the car in a day or two.
The car was sitting in the compound, where some guys cut a hole in the fence, smashed the window to get the locking wheel nuts from the glove box.
It happened somewhere in scotland.

Sorry didnt see that still a possibility though, window could have been an accident but as said if the wheels were pinched id be absolutely gutted
