hi all, ive bought a corsa b 1996 1.4 16v sport, with an eco tech engine, is there anything i will need to swap the engine from the sport into my 1995 1.2 8v shell like engine mounts and things like that or will the engine and loom be a straight swap?

if you are swapping the engines anyway and have both cars just use what ever you can out of the 1.4 so you mayaswell just swap everything in to the 1.2 shell anyway

engine, loom, ecu, transponder, key barel, engine mounts, exhaust, gearbox and shafts i think.. just use everything from the 14xe

iv jus done exactly tha same thing uour settin out to do and i had to reuse my 1.2 engine mounts and what ever u do dont 4 get tha ECU transponder chip and barrel
i 4 got them and becaus of this im 3 weeks behind schedual 
also there is a plug on the 1.2 car loom that wont fit the 1.4 engine loom but no worries youll jus av to cut tha plug off the 1.2 enginloom and re wier it into the 1.4 engine loom so that it will plug into the car loom
