the thing that causes the main problem is the centre bore size. if that doesnt sit on the 56.6mm vauxhall bore, then the wheel nuts are taking all the stress and they will snap over time.
IIRC the renault centre bore is 60.1, so they wont fit, and the rover is 58ish. too big for the vauxhalls. The older civics are the same bore as the vauxhalls and of course, all other vauxhalls are the same.

Or just buy some spigot rings for a few quid then they will fit

Not on a corsa they don't.
Porsche wheels look OK but not great. Stick with Speedlies/cav slabs/fan blades.
