Hi guys.

After some advice on here to scrap my SXi Shell and start again, I decided not to do the XE Conversion.

Change of heart, left me stripping the shell, and its being scrapped this week.

I've since bought another shell... It seems straight enough, and relatively tidy, and for a good price - So here she is.

1999 'S' 1.2 16v GLS.
Arden Blue
69k on the Clock
Part Service History
Standard Stereo and interior (minus Rear and Passenger seat)
Clifford Alarm with Glass sensor and some other random sensor thing...

Its already had a strengthening kit welded into the front, so thats another Job done.

The engine has already been removed, and there was a LET ECU in the Glovebox too - Bonus

There's a couple of scratches, but no real issues - No dents etc, and it needs 2 new Wing mirrors...

Anyway.. I paid �50 for it, and �15 in Diesel in my mates pickup to collect!

Phew - People don't think its bad straight away - That was lucky lol...

Besides, Its got all the EPS and stuff already installed, so its a great start - Saved me fitting the stuff I just removed from the shell you can see in the background!

EPS as well, I've got EPS on my XE, saved alot of hassle with powersteering pump etc...

Yeah definately - Though I have the EPS parts spare too - Selling them on ebay atm lol as they're from the Red shell in the background!

XE Engine, F20 Box, Loom and ECU, all the running shiz as expected... and its all in a deal with some Slabs and 2.0 Brakes too, which i'm paying a little ontop for..

So then there's not a Huge amount to get and she'll be on the road

Not bad considering I have NO money or Job atm... redundancy sucks lol..

The other shell had a front end smash - Seemed only cosmetic, but the bottom cross member was Damaged, as was the Slam panel - It needed a whole front end in terms of panels, and that was assuming it wasn't twisted!

Well - The progress on this shell has finally started - Just struggling with wiring and stuff on certain bits, But otherwise - Its got an XE in it

Looks awesome with 2 13" Steelies, 1 14 and a 15 on the front lol... 13's don't fit over 2.0 brakes! lol...

Updated.

XE is now in, and Starts.
Just got some 15" Steelies (Not in pics) with 4 new Firestones for a tenner...
Need an Ecotec adapter, Coming soon..
Need a couple of hoses
Need some mirrors, but coming along..

Got a Digital Dash to fit
Disc brake rear axle to fit.
De-Badged grille fitted...

Started stripping bits of loom out, Lightweight and all..

I want to remain relatively comfortable in the front, so i've fitted a black carpet, but trimmed it down so there's none in the back...

Removed all rear seatbelts and seat brackets, rear wiper, the usual bits really..

Just fitted some Spax or Gmax (Forget which) Gas adjustable rear shocks and some 30mm Springs - Looks much lower though which i like...
