Electric paint stripper (heat gun) and a scrapper.
Then use petrol or paint thinners to remove the residue.
Lidl do a really good paint thinner. It's cheap and comes in 1 litre tin.

I found if you hold the gun about 5-6" away from the sound deadening and waited until it started to melt then you leave less residue to clean off later on and need less effort with the scraper.
Don't rush it and you'll have a tidy job.
